…in a good Bigfoot Barleywine! Again… from one of my favorite breweries, Sierra Nevada, comes a beer worth stocking up! These Barleywines are 9.6%, so you can age them a lot like you can red wines. My husband collects these and ages them for years, then has an older one beside a newer one, so you can really taste the difference. This cap is from a 2006 Bigfoot Barleywine and we had it along side a 2010. I don’t have to tell you that the 2006 was much more full-bodied, richer and less hoppy than the 2010, but that 2010 was yummy all on it’s own!
Stock up on some Bigfoot, as it just gets better with age.
