At least for one night, I’m not making a beer post. Beer is delicious, but now and then we all need to have a yummy mixed drink recipe up our sleeve!
My standby is super simple – Tanqueray, a splash of Vermouth and lots of olives; I love olives (Queen Olives are best for Martini drinking – and might I suggest experimenting with garlic stuffed olives as well?)! My husband jokes and says that the liquid is just to keep my olives fresh.
I don’t settle for anything but Tanqueray either – it’s just so rich and flavorful, there’s no real substitute.
